In order to reciprocate the visit of the PUHSC delegation lead by Prof. Zhan, Qimin, President of PUHSC, to University of Melbourne, in August this year, Dr. Shitij Kapur, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences and Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Health) of the University of Melbourne, visited Peking University Stomatology Hospital on the afternoon of Sep. 21^st .

Prof. Pan, Kaifeng, Vice President of Peking University Stomatology Hospitalgreeted Dr. Shitij Kapur on behalf of the hospital. During the meeting, Prof. Sun, Qiudan, Director of Office of International Cooperation, PUHSC, reviewed the exciting exchanges and cooperation progresses that the two prominent universities had made over the past few years, and hoped further exchange and cooperation could take place in the fields of scientific and medical research training, post doctoral training and short term exchange etc. Dr. Shitij Kapur highly appreciated the development of the hospital after being briefed the achievements of the hospital, and he was very interested in the cooperation with Peking University Stomatology Hospitalin the study of genomics ofesophageal cancer, gastric cancer, and liver cancer.
