On 26 October 2016, King’s College London convened the Honorary Degree Ceremony. During the Ceremony, Prof. Yang Ke was awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree for her remarkable achievement in the areas of medical education, research and health care services in China, as well as her great contribution to the collaboration between Peking University Health Science Center and King’s College London. The Honorary doctorates of King’s have also been presented to other three highly distinguished recipients, include: Professor Thomas Jessell, an internationally distinguished neuroscientist at Columbia University; Professor Mona Siddiqui, Professor of Islamic and Interreligious Studies at the University of Edinburgh; and The 9th Duke of Wellington, Chairman of the King’s College Council from 2007 to July 2016.
