The Delegation of University of Maryland visited PKUHSC

On April 26, 2017, Robert C. Gallo, director of the Institute of Human Virology (IHV) at the University of Maryland, visited Peking University Health Science Center. The delegation included Cheng Hua, inventor of IHV-DC technology, Lu Wuyuan, vice director of IHV Faculty of Basic Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Tian Guangqi, board advisor of IHV. Zhan Qimin, president of PKUHSC met with the delegation.

Zhan Qimin briefed the delegation on PKUHSC’s medical teaching and research. Professor Gallo made an introduction about IHV and the breakthrough they’ve made on IHV-DC. Afterwards, the two sides held discussions about future collaborative intentions.
