On the afternoon of June 6, 2016, Professor Qimin Zhan, President of Peking University Health Science Center met with Professor Yong-Jian Geng, Director of Cardiovascular Research, Department of Internal Medicine and President’s Special Envoy to China, and Mr. Robert Lodato, Associate Professor of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care, Internal Medicine from University of Texas Health Science Centre (Houston) (UTHealth). Professor Qiudan Sun, Director of Office of International Cooperation of PUHSC also attended the meeting. 

Prof. Zhan warmly welcomed Prof. Geng and Associate Professor Lodato and returned the kindness to Dr. Giuseppe Colasurdo, President of UTHealth, who passed his greetings through Prof. Geng. Prof. Sun gave a brief introduction on Peking University Health Science Center. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas of the potential cooperation on medical education and clinical research program.
