On November 1, a delegation of University College London (UCL) and Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH) headed by UCL Pro Vice Provost Nora Colton came to visit Peking University Health Science Center. Together with PKUHSC School of Optometry and Ophthalmology, they held “China-UK Cooperation Forum on Ophthalmology and Optometry” and signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Zhan Qimin, PKU Executive Vice President and PKUHSC President, met with Nora Colton and the delegation and on behalf of PKUHSC signed the MOU with UCL and MEH. 

At the afternoon forum, experts from both sides delivered keynote speeches and held in-depth discussions and exchanges on the status quo of development and future directions of ophthalmology and optometry.

After the heated discussion the two sides held the signing ceremony. Zhan Qimin and Nora Colton signed the MOU on behalf of their respective universities.
