On September 5th 2016, Professor Shunro Endo, President of University of Toyama, visited Peking University Health Science Center. The delegation included Takeshi Horiuchi, Manager of International Exchange Division, Hiromi Tsuri, Section Chief of International Exchange Division, and Wanju Zhao, Coordination of International Exchange Division from International Affairs Department.

Professor Qimin Zhan, President of Peking University Health Science Center, met with the delegation. Professor Qiudan Sun, Director of Office of International Cooperation, Professor Shaoqing Cai, Director of International Cooperative Center for Researches of Medicinal Resources at Peking University Health Science Center and University of Toyama, and Professor Jingyan Han, Chairman of Department of Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine, School of Basic Medical Science also joined the meeting.

Professor Zhan appreciated the great effort that Professor Endo had made for maintaining the long-term cooperative relationship and hoped the two sides would expand the cooperation to other areas of strength. During the meeting, the attendees discussed the potential collaborative programs in the future, including the students and young scholars exchange program.
