From November 1 to 3, Peking University Health Science Center held “The Third International Conference of Frontiers in Precision and Translational Medicine”. The conference focused on the frontier development and hot issues in the field of precision and translational medicine. More than a hundred specialists and scholars from over ten medical schools from home and abroad were invited to the conference, i.e. America’s University of Pittsburg, Northwestern University, the University of Georgia, Indiana University, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Southern Medical University.

　　The four discussion topics of the conference were: the realization of individualized tumor treatment, the development of genetic test technology and precision medicine, the application of big data analysis in precision medicine, and accurate biomarkers and clinical research. Thirty-one specialists delivered academic reports and had heated discussions with the attendee teachers and students at the Q&A sessions. The conference held in-depth discussions and explorations centering on the frontier tendency, the development trend, and the hot issues. It made for a further development of China’s precision and translational medicine.
